Vibram 5 Fingers

We took a trip to Eden this weekend to get Jason some Vibram 5 Finger shoes. He has been "training" for these shoes in hopes of running the TOU Half in them. It's like running barefoot, but with a bit of protection on the bottom. I laughed when I saw them and the whole brown effect reminds me of bear feet, but I must admit that these are some seriously comfortable shoes. I think after the baby I might be jumpin' on the band wagon. Anyway, the fastest way to Eden, from Logan, is through Avon (i.e. "unimproved" roads if your jiggy with the forest service slang). So we took the Jeep. Jason and I were thinking it would be fun to do some back-roadin'. The girls thought it was fun to be able to roll down their windows (we have a mini-van...not a new one...so no rolling windows in the back). In fact, it was somewhat similar to a ride at lagoon; complete with screaming and arms being raised to intensify the effect. All in all, it was a fun little outing, and don't worry, there were a few good hills and some great mud puddles too!

They are So comfortable. I'm thinking that I might jump on this bandwagon too.
