So...Jason had a Scout over-nighter on Friday. He was under strict orders to be home by 10:30 am so that we could make it to Meridian (Boise) by 4:00 pm for Brooke's Baptism (my brother Matt's daughter). He got home just in the nick of time (thank you Jason!) and we made it to the Baptism with 2 minutes to spare. The kids loved Matt's waterfall and he had an awesome tire swing. One minute I look up and Grandpa is swinging Mialee, Amber, and Ben. The next minute they are on the ground, still in the tire, and Grandpa is looking around a little panicky-like. The swing broke--mid-air. No one was hurt (thankfully) and Matt and his friend even fixed it so the kids could still swing (especially Mialee, she was so sad and sat in the broken swing with a downcast look for quite a while).
The only downfall to the trip was that Alex turned into a fairy.
