Baby #5

So, my ultrasound is on the 20th. 10 Days. Anybody want to guess the gender of baby #5?

Sierra says it's a boy because the two other families in our ward that are pregnant both have children of all one gender (as do we), and are having a baby of the opposite gender. She thinks it's an omen.

Jason also says it's a boy because..well, if you really want to know you're gonna have to ask. It's probably TMI. Ha ha.

Travis (Jason's cohort) also says it's a boy because he swears he can see the gender specifics in my 13 week ultra sound.

Me? I keep my opinions to myself. I'm usually wrong, anyway.

What about you? Are you siding with the majority on this one? Is it just hopeful thinking? Do you think we would stop having kids if we had a boy? Ha ha. I'm not telling either way. Many of our friends and family have officially put us in the "crazy" category with baby #5, though. Personally, I am a firm believer that my life will be all that much more fulfilling. It's fun. It really is. And it's only going to get better. But I got off point. Want to guess the gender?

Boy!!! Just think it is. And it may be wishful thinking, cause it would be fun to see what a little prince will get away with, or will cause trouble with... Will you stop having kids if it is a boy? I hope not! You should have as many as you want. I will run interference with Grandma T. for you:)

Hmmm, I think it might be a boy. NOT because of what Travis says...because he can't see anything, even if he thinks he can. I think it's a boy because our little guy needs a best boy cousin. I'm sure they will have fun together either way and that they are probably friends already, but I just think it's a boy.

Girl.

Mostly because I see no other pink guesses, and each new baby is theoretically a 50/50.

Either way, congratulations. Either way will be an essential part of your world. Either way a joy and a challenge and a blessing.

they say if you have a least 4 kids...you will have one of each. NOW, this is #5...so I think the odds might just be a BOY!! love it!

I don't know. I am usually wrong too. You have beautiful girls. I think girl names are easier to come up with.

I just want to say first that whatever you have will be as cute as the rest! I am hoping for a boy just so you can experience the difference, but I kind of think it will be another girl, just because.

p.s. I am so glad you did not post the specifics of Jason's thoughts!

We miss you all and would love to have another night of games...let me know when you'll be free. Maybe on a Fri. or Sat. we can make pizza and play games.

That is so exciting that you will find out in 10 days! I am guessing a boy because I think it would be fun for Andrew and Jesse to have another boy cousin their age to play with. I can't wait to hear what you find out!

Have as many kids as your little heart desires. Jason and you are wonderful parents, and your kids are pretty dang lucky to have you. Love you guys!!

I remember a very dear friend of mine once told me that mine was a girl because if not I wasn't really part of the ward. I don't care what anyone else is having. I say girl because girls are better ;) but I will love you either way and I can't think of a better family to have 5 kids (or 6 or 7...). You are truly amazing and those kids have wonderful parents that love them. Who cares what anyone else thinks :).

I know someone that had 5 boys and tried again for a girl and had twin boys! She quit after that.

My guess is for a boy! I can't wait to find out what you are having! :)
P.S. Thanks for the advice on baby food feeding. It has helped.

I'm guessing a boy, but I'm a notoriously bad guesser. So it is probably a girl. What blessing either way!

No guess from me. Just hope it is healthy. In the end that is all that matters, at least to me! I'll just be waiting to hear, it is only a few more days from here!! Love Ya!

I think boy because a Dr told me once that it is very common to have one baby that is one gender and the rest the other gender.

I am with you, have as many as your hearts desire. I put myself in the crazy category with 5 sometimes, but I love it too.

And Jason, a Tongan family in our ward says it depends on what hour of the day you are um..... They got their planned girl, boy, girl, boy pattern that way. LOL. So if it is something like that, thanks for not sharing.
