To the Poor Lady...
To the poor lady who totaled her car this morning...I am soo sorry for you! I'm glad that I was 5 seconds too late to actually see it happen and I am even more glad that you emerged from the smoky pile of metal unscathed and able to pull your seven month old out of the mess. I am glad that she was okay too. She was adorable by the way and I'm glad she got to sit in my nice warm van for a little while, where my 6 year old had a hey-day entertaining her. She is sure, by the way, that she saved her life and without us, the poor thing might have died. Thank you for the reminder of how precious life is. And that every second counts. And to come to a complete stop and look both ways. Your honesty inspired me. I'm not sure that if I was in the same situation I would have so completely and forth-rightly taken the blame, even if it was my fault. I hope that you found your husband and he gave you the comforting hug that I'm sure you needed. And I also hope that your insurance gives you enough money to afford a new car (cross our fingers, and our legs, our arms, our toes, our eyes...). My heart goes with you as I envision flashes of myself in your situation. I loved my life a little more than usual today...

I am done with my tag. And not one of them is about pregnancy. Mainly to prove you wrong ;)
Do you ever say a prayer of thanks when you arrive home, even if it is just a short distance? Because this could happen to any of us, any day. Scary.
