Sierra had a "Late Night Movie" Party for her birthday this year. We invited twelve 6 year-olds and one 4-year old! And it was a blast! The kids had movie tickets to write their name on and a money envelope to decorate when they came. We played a couple of games and then "went to the movie" (thanks Steven and Jason for the big screen) complete with a concession stand. I think I had as much fun as the kids did. They loved buying their treats and then returning them (I'm not sure if it's really legal to return a piece of licorice and a marshmellow). I don't think they could decide if it was better to have the treats or the money (thanks Monopoly). My only regret--too many presents. My kids don't need to be that spoiled.
