I think Spring Cleaning was for those times when people had been cooped up in their houses all winter with a wood burning stove. I am trying to clean 1 drawer each day. Did well on the East end of the upstairs. Started in kitchen, and progress is slowing. I am dreading sewing/craft room and am wondering if I will even be able to look at the storage rooms. Day by day....maybe.
I don't Spring Clean, but I do go on rampages of deep cleaning a couple times a year. This usually consists of sitting around and suddenly seeing all the handprints on walls, doors and windows, dusty floorboards, dirty light switches, dust-encrusted ceiling fans and then there's a day or so of cleaning my booty off. When I'm pregnant I call it Nesting. When I'm not I call it Cleaning.
