Do You Spring Clean?

I am taking a survey. It's a short one, so gimme some answers people. If you linger here and never answer my questions then shame on you... Okay, here it is (in case you didn't get it from the title):

Do you Spring Clean?

I don't usually "Spring Clean." To me it's a generic title closely related to "nesting" and it rubs me the wrong way. If a room or a spot or an area starts to bug me--I clean it. Otherwise, let those poor little dust-bunnies rest in peace. But this year, I just might jump in on the cliche.

This Spring Cleaning List is a good base to go off of. Just maybe I'll try it. Maybe all at once. Maybe on Saturdays. Hmmm, I'll have to mull it over and firm up my plans a bit... What about you? How do you do your Spring Cleaning? (I know, it was another question snuck into the survey, but seriously, you're here, just answer the questions!)

When I can see it needs to be cleaned, I clean it. I do like to go through closets, cupboards, clothes, etc. every 3-6 months and get rid of stuff. I do not like extra stuff!!

I don't "spring clean" like have a list and do it from start to finish. But i definitely clean more in the spring. The weather gets better and makes me feel happier and more motivated...so i just get more done.

Nope. The last couple of years I've done a major unclutter event to celebrate Lent, but that's uncluttering, not necessarily cleaning.

I do often wash curtains and blinds in the spring though ... because they collect a lot of dust and dirt from furnace and wood stove use all winter.

First, that picture below is hilarious. I really laughed out loud! No, there is no spring cleaning here. I would say I fall clean. (Oh, I probably don't do that either) When it turns spring that last thing I want to do is spend 5 minutes to many in the house. Every once in a while around 11:00 pm a room bugs me and a throw a bunch of stuff away. Speaking of which - I haven't done it for a while.

I don't really "Spring Clean" either. I am like Crystal. I have more motivation once the weather warms up so I am more willing to clean. I have just gone through a bunch of stuff to get rid of. I HAVE WAY TOO MUCH STUFF AND IT DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!!! I looked at the Spring Cleaning List and it is overwhelming.

I use to spring clean ever year. Complete with wiping down walls, cleaning carpets all the good stuff, but have been a slacker since Brooke was born. I would like to say it will happen this year but I am guessing no :).

I spring yardwork... now that I have a yard. I throw open the windows and sometimes realize that they are FILTHY and do them. I rearrange furniture periodically and that inspires declutter. I wouldn't say "spring cleaning" exactly; but the cleaning bug rarely hits midwinter.

No Spring cleaning here. You know the reason for spring cleaning came about when folks used to burn coal or wood in their homes. The coal left a black film on everything and it was necessary to wash the walls, curtains and windows to get rid of the soot. I like the concept of spring cleaning, but really don't make it a priority here.
