Alex is Home!

Taun and Shannon came home! I talked to Taun today and Shannon is staying home the rest of the week. Alex is still a little grumpy and a little aggressive, probably due to medication. His equilibrium is off so he can't walk or crawl and needs to be held a lot. He is slowly recovering and doing a little better every day. He will be on Anti-seizure meds for years or life. And the doctors recommend that when he gets sick, they take him in for an IV so that his body won't be lacking and trigger more seizures.

They still have many more doctor appointments and specialists to see, but they are optimistic that his seizures are managable and that he will make a full recovery from his latest ordeal.

Good luck Taun and Shannon! We love you and pray for you every day. We expect to see Benjamin over a lot to play and let us know if you want help holding that cute little baby boy!

I'm glad everyone is doing better, and I hope that the little "grumpy" man can get back to being himself soon. I think I'd be grumpy too if I had just been through all that! Doctors and nurses poking and probing, monitors all over the place, missing home and one's own bed makes most people down right impossible so kudos to Alex for sticking it out!
