So I went to Washington and unexpectedly found myself in Forks.
I walked on the beach and ate lunch on the driftwood where Bella could have talked to Jacob.
I slept in the forest where she would have wandered so many times alone, with Edward, with Jacob.
I peered at the cliffs where Bella could have lost her life jumping into the Ocean.
I searched for the sun in a place where it really does never shine.
I walked in the rain, the ocean on one side, the forest on the other, contemplating these fictional books that seemed a little more real when I was there in the midst of it all.
So...I came home and started reading the Twilight books again, for fun. That's where I've been (well, in between children and laundry and house cleaning and babysitting), in case you were wondering. No, I'm not obsessed, but very very intrigued.

Twlight....only read 1.....cannot immagine being in love with a vampire....so.....will not be visiting Forks anytime soon-or reading the next ones. Glad that you enjoyed the chance to feel like Bella!
I don't think that it has so much to do with being in love with a vampire as much as just plain being in love and trying to get over your limitations. Call me silly, but the whole vampire thing really doesn't bother me...it's just a story. I have enjoyed an escape from reality! PS: Thank you thank you thank you for watching my kids!
