The kids seem to be adjusting to school now. Mialee's biggest hang up is all the dirty kids talking to her (and thus possibly spitting on her), and touching her. Her first solution was to take a bath everyday when she got off the bus. I vetoed that. And yesterday she came home and said, "Guess what? The kids that I didn't want to touch me, touched me, and I'm doing okay!" Poor kid. Ya gotta feel bad for someone whose stress level is that high. Today I went to help with homework and wrote a smiley face on her paper in marker and she had a melt-down. She doesn't like it when people write on her papers in marker because she can't erase it. But, really, she is doing okay, I think....at least as okay as is possible for her.

Hawaii! Can I come? Could I fit in one of your bags?? That sounds so fun but I can totally understand the feelings. I hope you have fun and we will miss you :). Can't wait for tonight!
Hawaii....so fun. Lots going on in your life. And you did peaches on Saturday after cheering on Jason and then fixing us all lunch. Makes me tired just thinking of it.
That is too bad that Mialee has such fears and obsessions. That must be tough. No wonder you are planning on a great get away.
I am excited for your Hawaii trip too. While you are gone, I am going to surround myself with fun pics of Hawaii. We will eat tropical foods, bought a pineapple today, yum. Watch movies filmed in tropics and dream I am there without kids too. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
