About that Economy

So...the economy is bad. I read it in the paper, I hear it on the news. So what does that mean for you? Personally, my husband still has a job...I still buy groceries...I even buy gas...and I might go to a movie or out to eat now and then (no more or less than before). I guess it hasn't really affected me all that much, thankfully. So who gets hit? Not Walmart. Not Techron. Not even ToysRUs. It's the hometown, workin' hard, trying to make a living with my own business people that get hit the worst, I think. That would include my FIL. Let me introduce him...




This is Grandpa Dave with Sierra and baby Mialee. Grandpa Dave is also a Dentist...and has been for 20 some odd years. The trouble is, as my Dad puts it, "When the Economy is bad people quit going to the Dentist." Also, you would never know he was a dentist if you met him...he's quiet and conservative and doesn't flaunt his knowledge and he's not rich. But he is one awesome dentist. He doesn't have dental assistants. He does all the work himself. He doesn't schedule multiple people at once. He doesn't want anyone to have to wait. His daughter is his receptionist. He won't tell you that you need extra work just to make a quick buck. In fact, he doesn't even have a TV in his waiting room because 1. He doesn't want you to wait and 2. He doesn't want you to think you're paying his cable bill.

So...if you need a great dentist...here's my suggestion...go see Grandpa Dave. He could use your business and you will find it worth your time!
